Our history
Dunmore House has been a family home for generations — the gardens around it are the work of many hands over many decades.
The house
The Georgian house at Dunmore sits above the Foyle at Carrigans, a few minutes from the Derry border. Ivy-clad and lived-in rather than restored to within an inch of its life, it remains a family home — which is exactly why it feels the way it does when you have it to yourselves.
The gardens
Over 2.5 acres of flowers, winding paths, ponds and specimen trees, planted and replanted across generations. The old walled garden and glasshouse still anchor the layout, and the borders have had decades to settle into themselves.
